Prof. Rizza's research interests cover a wide range of study areas including photonics, electrodynamics, metamaterials science, nonlinear optics, 2D materials photonics, plasmonics and thermoplasmonics, metamaterials for applications in the THz band and for magnetic resonance imaging. Specifically, Prof. Rizza has an established track record in modeling photonic/nanophotonic devices based on novel physical mechanisms.
