The research activities of Prof. Daidone are focused on the study of thermodynamic, kinetic and electronic properties of complex molecular and macromolecular systems and, in particular, of biomolecules and molecular machines in solutions. Her main aim is the understanding and prediction of the macroscopic properties of these systems on the basis of their behavior as obtained from computer simulations (both classical and hybrid quantum/classical) and theoretical models.
