My research activity is devoted to Astroparticle Physics, in particular to ultra-high-energy cosmic ray (UHECR) physics. I am one of the authors of a software that simulates UHECR propagation in the extragalactic space, relesased and publicy available to scientific community. I study the interaction processes of UHECRs with photons and matter, within the candidate sources and in the extragalactic space. I am interested in the comprehensive description of UHECR data; since 2019, I am the leader of the Cosmic-Ray Phenomenology task force within the Pierre Auger Collaboration. I am also interested in multi-messenger aspects including high-energy neutrinos and photons. Fundamental physics to be studied with cosmic rays is also within my scientific interests.
